THE CAST
MILTON BERLE
Milton Berle is one of the all-time greats of the entertainment world. He won an Emmy nomination for Best Dramatic Actor for 1962 honoring his performance in Dick Powell’s television presentation, “Doyle Against the House.” He makes his motion picture debut as a dramatic actor in “The Oscar,” playing Kappy Kapstetter, Frank Fane’s agent, and a man whose word is a contract, his loyalty gilt-edged insurance, but who finally divests himself of this client at the time when he is “the hottest,” a nominee for Best Actor on the eve of Oscar night.
The first “giant” of television, an enduring star of stage, motion pictures, nightclubs, radio, Berle has also probably done more benefit performances than anyone else in show business.
